Who Can Apply?

• You must be a registered and dues-paying student of the University of Ghana, whether on the regular program, fee-paying program, city campus, or distance education program.
• You must be able to demonstrate a genuine need for financial assistance.

Applying is Easy!

1. Visit the University of Ghana website: https://www.ug.edu.gh/.
2. Navigate to "Admission" then "Financial Aid/Scholarships/ SRC Yi Bi Boa Scholarship."
3. Carefully review the eligibility criteria before proceeding.
4. Complete the online application form, ensuring you include the required essays and upload all supporting documents.
5. Download and print a hard copy of your completed online application preview, including supporting documentation. Submit this hard copy to the Students Financial Aid Office by the deadline.

New Applicants vs. Renewals

• If this is your first time applying for UG Sponsorship or a previous application was unsuccessful, choose "New Application Submission" on the online form.
• If you were a recipient of the SRC Yi Bi Boa Scholarship in 2023/2024 or an earlier SFAO scholarship, select "Renewal of Application" on the online form.
